Adopt A Dog In Need – Santa Clarita July 11, 2023
The Castaic Dog Shelter has a handful of dogs that need your help. If you’re considering getting a pet, especially a dog, please consider adopting. The Castaic Animal Care Center is full. In fact, many dogs have been moved over to the Agoura location.

Here are some pros of adopting a dog:
- They tend to be extremely loyal and grateful, especially if they’re older.
- Many times dogs from shelters are partially trained. Saving you time and money on a trainer.
- If they’re mixed they could be healthier due to the fact the have diverse genes compared to full bred dogs that suffer from certain traits.
- You’ll save money on buying a dog from a breeder and getting shots.
- You don’t have to find out your dog’s personality. Many dogs in shelters are older and have already developed there personalities. No guessing games here.
