Operation Gratitude 2023 In Santa Clarita

Operation Gratitude 2023 – Wednesday November 1st.

Ready for Operation Gratitude 2023? Every year, the day after Halloween, on November 1st, we host Operation Gratitude. What is Operation Gratitude. It’s an event where we encourage people from our communities to come out with their children. The purpose is to help parents get rid of unwanted Halloween candy.

How do you get kids to give up their excess candy? With games and prizes. Where does the candy go? Usually, it goes to our troops overseas. It’s a great way to know that we’re thinking about them while they’re far away from home. Unfortunately, do the state of the world, there are concerns with sending candy to our troops as some may be laced with unwanted substances. It’s a safety issue.

However, our community has grown fond of this event as have we and our troops. Which is why we will continue. We won’t be able to send the cady overseas, but a big part of our event is our letter writing event. After the games and prizes, we have the kids write letters to the troops. We’re still able to send these letters to our troops and they appreciate it.

Wednesday, November 1, 2023. From 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Letters To Our Troops – Operation Gratitude 2023

Receiving a cute letter from kids back home has a positive impact on our troops stationed abroad. It reminds them that we’re still thinking about them, and it gives them a tangible way of seeing that they are appreciated for their work and sacrifice.

Many troops have told us how it’s a heartwarming to receive these letters with cute drawings made by children back home. It helps to solidify what they’re fighting for. It’s also a great surprise and a wonderful way to help put a smile on the face of an American Soldier stationed far from home.

Games & Prizes – Operation Gratitude 2023

As we mentioned earlier, we have games and prizes. Our office turns into an arcade of sorts. We have a bunch of games that your kids get to play with fun little prizes! Some of our troops will be in attendance and your kids will have a chance to challenge them to some of these games. If you’ve been a part of this event, then you know what we’re talking about. Watch the video below to get an idea.

School Spirit

Did we mention that your kid’s attendance also helps their schools. How? Well, we ask every student what school they attend. At the end of the event, we tally up each school’s number of participants and we then give the top three schools a check.

Dental Health

Of course, as we mentioned earlier, this is a great way to get rid of the candy your hard-working kids collect on Halloween night. We all know candy isn’t good for your teeth, and all the candy our kids get on Halloween is a sure-fire way to get cavities. So, come join us! Have fun! Support our troops! Support your kid’s dental health!

If you’re afraid of your kids eating all that Halloween candy and want a fun way to get rid of it, come to Operation Gratitude 2023. Additionally, if you want to help spread some holiday spirit to our troops stationed overseas, come be a part of our event.
