Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our services, insurance, and
what to expect during your visit.
General & Preventive Care
How often should I visit the dentist?
We recommend a checkup and cleaning every six months. Some
patients with gum disease history may benefit from visits every
3–4 months.
What happens during a dental checkup?
Your visit includes a thorough exam, professional cleaning,
digital X-rays if needed, oral cancer screening, and a
personalized treatment plan discussion.
Are dental X-rays safe?
Yes. Digital X-rays use up to 80% less radiation than
traditional film X-rays. We only take X-rays when clinically
necessary.
How can I prevent cavities?
Regular brushing, flossing, professional cleanings, and limiting
sugary foods are key. Fluoride treatments and dental sealants
provide additional protection.
Cosmetic Dentistry
How long does teeth whitening last?
Professional whitening results typically last 1–3 years
depending on your diet and habits. Touch-ups can extend results.
Are veneers permanent?
Veneers are considered a permanent treatment since a small
amount of enamel is removed. They typically last 10–20 years
with proper care.
Is Invisalign as effective as braces?
For most cases, yes. Invisalign effectively treats crowding,
spacing, overbites, and underbites. We’ll assess if it’s right
for your situation during a consultation.
Dental Implants
Am I a candidate for dental implants?
Most adults with good general health are candidates. Even
patients with bone loss may qualify with bone grafting. A
consultation and imaging will help us determine your options.
How long do dental implants last?
With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. The crown
on top typically lasts 10–15 years before potential replacement.
Is the implant procedure painful?
Most patients report less discomfort than expected. Local
anesthesia and sedation options ensure you’re comfortable
throughout. Post-procedure soreness is manageable with
over-the-counter medication.
What is All-on-4?
All-on-4 is a full-arch restoration technique that replaces an
entire row of teeth using just four strategically placed
implants. It’s a popular option for patients seeking a permanent
alternative to dentures.
Sedation & Comfort
What sedation options do you offer?
We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedation, IV
sedation, and general anesthesia depending on your needs and the
procedure.
I have severe dental anxiety — can you help?
Absolutely. Many of our patients have dental anxiety. Our
sedation options and gentle approach help even the most nervous
patients feel comfortable.
Insurance & Payment
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most major dental insurance plans. Contact us with
your plan details and we’ll verify your coverage before your
appointment.
What if I don’t have insurance?
We offer competitive self-pay rates, in-house membership plans,
and financing through CareCredit. Quality dental care should be
accessible to everyone.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We offer CareCredit financing with low and no-interest
options, plus in-house payment arrangements for qualifying
treatments.

first visit online or by calling (661) 259-4474.
