Every year in November right after Halloween we have a big Halloween candy buy back where kids exchange candy for prizes. With Veterans day coming up right after that we always involve our local soldiers to come participate with the kids in this event. This gives kid the chance to meet the real heroes of the world and gives the them the opportunity to write a letters to troops serving overseas.

We do all this in the name of never forgetting who keeps us safe here in the states and to honor the Smudde’s fathers, who also served in the armed forces as well. 

May we never take the brave men and women who to the oath to serve and protect our country for granted. Let’s show them how much they mean to us.
