Covid Precautions

A woman wearing a mask at Santa Clarita Advanced Dentistry. In early March, we began a deep cleaning and disinfection effort to protect our patients from the fast spreading Coronavirus. To ease the minds of our patients and employees, our office has implemented new guidelines to make sure we did everything in our power to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Below are the highlighted cleaning efforts during this virus.

•  All floors, ceilings, walls, work surfaces, seats , drawers and equipment have been bleached and sterilized. This has helped prevent the spread through "touchable surfaces" including iPads and pens used for signing in at the front desk.
•  We have integrated HEPA Filtration systems into every patient room and common areas. These filters are Medical Grade and extract out particle sizes even smaller than the Coronavirus from the air. These have also been placed in hallways, the reception area, and our office breakrooms, ensuring constant air purification.
•  Each patient is temperature checked, screened for symptoms, and asked about their recent health history upon arrival
•  We have rearranged our seating areas, to ensure safe social distancing.
Staff wellness checks are completed at the beginning of each day as well as several times throughout the day.
•  We are also asking each patient to come in with a cloth face covering for the time being.
•  Our team is utilizing extra PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while you're being treated, and while walking throughout the office. This includes the use of masks, both surgical and cotton face coverings, protective glasses, face shields, and surgical scrub caps.

WE ARE IN FULL COMPLIANCE WITH CDC, WHO, CDA, and ADA guidelines.

We understand that getting your teeth cleaned may be the last thing on your to do list when trying to stay inside of the house, but we believe it is better to be proactive than reactive. By maintaining a healthy mouth and good hygeine, you lower your risk of contracting viruses or even the common cold. The magic trick is to rinse with mouthwash twice a day, floss, and brush your teeth, making sure to clear any bacteria out of your mouth at least twice a day. We guarantee that our office is clean, disinfected, and that we are READY to to see your smiling faces in our office. We have always worked to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our office, and feel confident that a confident and healthy smile leads to a healthy YOU!
